This role involves working closely with production, engineering, and business teams to ensure seamless integration between shop-floor systems, ERP platforms, and corporate IT systems.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Operational Leadership:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Ability to lead without authority and foster a teamwork environment </p>\n<p>Develop, customize, and maintain applications that support production tracking, quality control, inventory management, and reporting.</p>\n<p>Develop, customize, and maintain applications that support production tracking, quality control, inventory management, and reporting.</p>\n<p>Design system integrations between factory systems, ERP platforms, and data analytics tools.</p>\n<p>Write, test, and deploy code using appropriate programming languages (e.g., X++, C#, .NET, Python, SQL, Java).</p>\n<p>Implement and maintain APIs and automation scripts for data exchange between systems.</p>\n<p>Integrate applications with third-party systems, APIs, and databases.</p>\n<p>Conduct unit testing, system testing, and integration testing to ensure application quality.</p>\n<p>Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and troubleshoot issues as they arise.</p>\n<p>Ensure compliance with data protection standards.</p>\n<p>Provide ongoing technical support for developed systems and applications.</p>\n<p>Monitor application performance and implement improvements or patches.</p>\n<p>Participate in after-hours support rotation if required for critical production systems.</p>\n<p>Consistently acts in accordance with business professionalism principles including during business hours, at company events, meetings, off-site meetings, audits, etc. </p>\n<p>Consistently provides professional business communications to internal and external customers, staff, peers and company leadership.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Continuous Improvement:</strong></p>\n<p>Participate in or lead IT-related projects in the manufacturing domain (e.g., MES upgrades, ERP enhancements, system migrations).</p>\n<p>Contribute to Lean Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives by leveraging automation, IoT, and data analytics technologies.</p>\n<p>Recommend new technologies and practices to improve system efficiency, scalability, and security.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:</strong></p>\n<p>Analytical thinking and detail orientation</p>\n<p>Business process understanding within manufacturing environments</p>\n<p>Technical innovation and adaptability</p>\n<p>Excellent communication and documentation abilities.</p>\n<p>Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.</p>\n<p>Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships</p>\n<p>Strong ability to set priorities, solve problems, and be resourceful when under pressure</p>\n<p>Comfort and experience interfacing with various levels of staff and management while working in a fast-paced environment</p>\n<p>Must demonstrate a sense of urgency and dedication to supporting customer requirements</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Education/Experience:</strong></p>\n<p>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).</p>\n<p>3–5+ years of experience in software development or IT systems analysis.\\ preferably in a manufacturing environment.</p>\n<p>Has assisted in migration to new ERP system, cloud environment.</p>\n<p>Previous experience in production environment required</p>\n<p>MRP or ERP system experience AX2009/AX2012 highly preferred</p>\n<p>Microsoft SQL Server/SSRS, Power BI</p>\n<p>Aviation background preferred</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></p>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
