    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Touro’s Lander College for Men is hiring an Adjunct faculty member who is passionate about teaching Marketing and Management to first- and second-year undergraduate students and who wishes to make a lasting impact on their futures. The Adjunct Professor is responsible for course preparation and instruction, the development of instructional materials, student advisement, grading, and assessment. S/he will report to the Chair of the Business Department. Classes are held on our central Queens campus (Kew Gardens Hills) on alternating afternoons.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li> Teaching undergraduate semester-long course(s) in Principles of Marketing and Principles of Management, and selected other Marketing courses.</li>\n <li> Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours to consult with students concerning course feedback and examination assessment, and academic and career matters.</li>\n <li> Preparing course materials including syllabi, examinations, homework assignments, and handouts.</li>\n <li> Delivering lectures and creating a classroom environment where students feel comfortable participating and learning.</li>\n <li> Keeping up-to-date with the numerous goings-on in the field, and integrating new knowledge into the curriculum.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education/Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>MS (Marketing, Management, or Organizational Psychology), M.B.A., or equivalent required.</li>\n <li> Minimum 5 years in the field and prior teaching experience required.</li>\n <li> Advanced background in business education, and some real-world practice.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li> Deep knowledge of Management and Marketing and current issues.</li>\n <li> Ability to assess student performance objectively.</li>\n <li> Demonstrated ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students, faculty and colleagues.</li>\n <li> Exceptional communication skills by effectively articulating complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner.</li>\n <li> Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point.</li>\n</ul>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Maximum Salary</h2>USD $4,000.00/Course\n<h2>Minimum Salary</h2>USD $3,600.00/Course",
