We will never ask you for any personal information over the phone, via email or via text.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>CASINO REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be at least 21 years of age.</li>\n <li>Must be able to obtain, and maintain, a Gardena Police Department/City issued Casino Work Permit. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY </strong> Steam clean and extract Casino carpet, furnishings, restrooms, kitchen and exterior hard surfaces through the use of industrial equipment.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>To assist in monitoring and maintaining cleaning standards of the Casino.</li>\n <li>To carry out spot cleaning and ensure spillages are dealt with swiftly and efficiently.</li>\n <li>To ensure the casino is safe and tidy at all times.</li>\n <li>To ensure specialist cleaning of all floor surfaces and furnishings.</li>\n <li>Shampoo carpeting on a revolving schedule.</li>\n <li>Steam Restroom on a revolving schedule.</li>\n <li>Steam sidewalks on a revolving schedule.</li>\n <li>Adhere to all State and Health Department rules and regulations.</li>\n <li>Adhere to the company Safety and Injury and Illness Prevention policies.</li>\n <li>Perform all other work-related duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A valid state issued driver’s license required. </li>\n <li>Knowledge and experience of industrial cleaning practices.</li>\n <li>Knowledge and experience of mechanical equipment and devices.</li>\n <li>Position requires shifts including weekends and holidays.</li>\n <li>Must be familiar with assorted carpet shampooers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other carpet cleaning tools.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Qualified individuals [as defined by the ADA and CRD] must be able to perform all of the essential duties with or without a reasonable accommodation.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION/FORMAL TRAINING</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A High School diploma or general education degree (GED).</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>REASONING ABILITY</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to determine and shift priorities quickly.</li>\n <li>Ability to examine issues both strategically and tactically.</li>\n <li>Ability to exercise good judgement.</li>\n <li>Ability to carry out detailed tasks and projects with minimal direction or supervision. Self-Starter is a plus!    </li>\n <li>This position requires the ability to problem solve and communicate with Casino floor personnel.</li>\n <li>Good customer service skills.</li>\n <li>Team player attitude.</li>\n <li>Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>LANGUAGE SKILLS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationships.</li>\n <li>Ability to express complex concepts in a clear manner.</li>\n <li>Ability to express ideas clearly and succinctly in letters, memos and reports.</li>\n <li>Able to read, write, and speak English.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS</strong></p>\n<p>Valid California Driver’s License.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Requires ability to rapidly and constantly lift large and heavy packages and boxes and equipment to perform a continuous process of loading, manipulating and unloading large items throughout a scheduled shift.</li>\n <li>Must have ability to safely lift minimum of 75 lbs. without restrictions. </li>\n <li>Requires many hours of working with mechanical equipment. </li>\n <li>Requires standing for long periods of time.</li>\n <li>The ability to be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time. </li>\n <li>Able to reach overhead, bend, kneel, and carry product, necessary for customer service, re-stocking inventory, maneuvering equipment and furnishings. </li>\n <li>Able to regularly perform maintenance items: sweep, vacuum, extract and steam clean.</li>\n <li>Ability to use and climb ladders and operate electric man lifts. </li>\n <li>Requires ability to perform repetitive motions (i.e. maneuvering extraction equipment, etc.) </li>\n <li>Must be able to stand on feet for an eight-hour shift.</li>\n <li>Work in an enclosed and busy area. </li>\n <li>Requires ability to constantly reach with hands and arms; occasionally required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.</li>\n <li>Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude and ability to deal effectively with guests, management, employees and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines with attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Professional appearance and demeanor.</li>\n <li>Stand and walk for long periods of time.</li>\n <li>Lifting, twisting and turning carrying items on a constant basis.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>WORK ENVIORNMENT</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. </li>\n <li>Work is generally performed within an office environment, which includes the use of standard office equipment.</li>\n <li>Ability to tolerate indoor and outdoor temperatures of approximately 30- 75 degrees for extended periods of time. </li>\n <li>Adult content environment.</li>\n <li>Must be at least 21 years of age .</li>\n <li>Must be able to concentrate in an intense, fast-paced environment with numerous distractions.</li>\n <li>24-hour operation with a very fast paced environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This job description is not to be construed as an exhaustive list of duties, responsibilities, or requirements.
