Join the Tile Town Team
For over 55 years, Tile Town has been helping homeowners, designers, and contractors create beautiful spaces. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our Head Office team and support our Controller with a variety of accounting and administrative functions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in keeping things accurate and organized.
Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processing Perform data entry and maintain accurate records Support daily accounting and bookkeeping functions using QuickBooks Online Reconcile invoices, statements, and supporting documentation Assist with filing, record management, and administrative projects Prepare reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel Create and edit documents using Microsoft Word Provide general administrative support to the Controller and Head Office team Help ensure financial information is entered accurately and on time
Previous office administration or accounting experience Experience working with QuickBooks Online Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Positive attitude and willingness to support the team wherever needed Preferred Qualifications
Accounting, bookkeeping, or business administration education is considered an asset Experience with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes Experience working in a multi-location retail or wholesale environment is an asset
Compensation for this position will range depending upon skills, abilities and relevant knowledge or experience.
In addition, the following perks will apply:
Extended Health Benefits (including Massage, Chiropractors & Physio) Dental Benefits RRSP Plan. Company will match 5 year free trip with spending money Closed all Stat Holidays Closed all Sundays Store operating hours
