Description

Plant Operations Supervisor We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plant Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily functions of our manufacturing plant. This leadership role is vital in ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality plant operations, while providing guidance and oversight to plant personnel in the absence of the Plant Manager. Key Responsibilities: Open the plant each day and manage daily operations to ensure production targets are met efficiently and safely. Supervise and coordinate plant personnel, providing leadership and support in the absence of the Plant Manager. Perform all job duties in strict accordance with company safety and environmental policies and procedures. Adhere to and enforce all company policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Safely batch concrete and load trucks according to order specifications, maintaining high standards of quality and operational efficiency. Conduct quality checks on sand moisture, slumps, and temperatures as per scheduled procedures. Actively motivate and lead team members to achieve operational goals, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Monitor and maintain equipment, ensuring proper operation and scheduling preventative maintenance as needed. Troubleshoot operational issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure consistent product quality. Maintain accurate records of production, quality checks, and safety compliance. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in plant operations, manufacturing, or a related field. Strong leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of concrete batching processes and quality control procedures. Excellent understanding of safety and environmental regulations. Ability to perform quality checks and interpret technical data. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications preferred.
