    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Day shifts available with a $500 Sign On Bonus for Full-Time!</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking a kindhearted, energetic <strong>Certified</strong> <strong>Caregiver/Med Tech for our Cottonwood, AZ </strong>location who has a genuine desire to help seniors and is committed to meeting their day-to-day needs while helping to preserve their dignity and quality of life. This is a level 1 and level 2 care community. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The purpose of this position is to provide a broad range of support services to our Assisted Living residents, including but not limited to, <strong>administering medications</strong> to the residents in a safe, accurate, and timely manner based on medical chart records.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Document the care provided and report any changes in the resident's condition.</li>\n <li>Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.</li>\n <li>Perform welfare checks on residents.</li>\n <li>Document and report care provided and resident observations.</li>\n <li>Provide physical assistance, laundry & bedding assistance, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.</li>\n <li>Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques.</li>\n <li>Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.</li>\n <li>Administer prescribed medications to assisted living residents and maintain medical records.</li>\n <li>Order and complete medication records.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent required.</li>\n <li>Applicants are required to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.</li>\n <li>Coachable and the willingness and ability to learn. </li>\n <li>Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.</li>\n <li>Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and empathy.</li>\n <li>The ability to deliver compassionate care to elderly patients.</li>\n <li>Prior caregiving and medication administration experience a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Certificates required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Certification as an Arizona Caregiver is required.</strong></li>\n <li>CPR and First Aid certifications are required. </li>\n <li>A valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card is required. </li>\n <li>A current negative TB test is required.
