Perform field inspector duties by reviewing work completed by contract &amp; in-house technicians.</p><h3><strong>Major Duties and Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Actively and consistently supports all efforts to ensure LSCG follows all field construction specifications and guidelines as outlined by each project.</li><li>Perform field inspections (includes compliance with requirements outlined in applicable regulations such as OSHA &amp; FCC &amp; following procedures as outlined in the Field Inspector Guidelines).</li><li>Interact with business customers &amp; representatives, demonstrating an understanding of &amp; regard for construction project.</li><li>Assist supervisor, when necessary, in following up on unacceptable workmanship to ensure work is completed to customer and company specifications.</li><li>Recognize &amp; escalate to a supervisor persistent field inspection issues or other observed factors that could impact the ongoing relationship between client and company.</li><li>Evaluate field inspector standards audit program to ensure all work passes the client’s specifications prior to billing.</li><li>Utilize &amp; demonstrate proficiency with construction tasks, tools, test equipment &amp; information that will enhance field inspection results.</li><li>Enter inspection findings in established company database in accordance with policy &amp; procedures.</li><li>Maintain accurate records.</li><li>Operate communications device in accordance with company policies.</li><li>Operate a company vehicle in a safe &amp; responsible manner; Clean, maintain, stock &amp; secure assigned vehicle &amp; equipment in accordance with company policies.</li><li>Adhere to industry specific, local, state &amp; federal regulations, as applicable.</li><li>Know, understand &amp; follow company policy.</li><li>Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.</li><li>Assist in driving a field inspector-centered culture in all project and field offices.</li></ul><h3><strong>Qualifications:</strong></h3><p><strong>Fiber/Coax Construction or Permitting/Design Exp Preferred</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to read, write, speak and understand English</li><li>Solid financial management skills including forecasting, analyzing and planning</li><li>Strong analytic, organizational, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and anticipate and meet deadlines</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communications skills</li><li>Ability to prioritize and organize effectively</li><li>Demonstrated leadership qualities</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality</li><li>Ability to work independently</li><li>Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc.)</li></ul><h3><strong>Working Conditions</strong></h3><p>Office environment, Flexibility to work extended hours</p><h3><strong>Disclaimer Statement</strong></h3><p>This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements or working conditions associated with this position.
