Heath Consultants&#39; number one goal is to protect life and property!&nbsp;</p><p>We are actively hiring Utility Locator Technicians &ndash; Damage Prevention Specialists who are service-minded team players. &nbsp;Our clients are underground utility companies across the country and we are responsible for detecting and properly marking underground utilities. If serving your community, protecting the environment, and working in a stable industry with plenty of room for growth sounds appealing, then we want to talk to you. &nbsp;<strong>No experience required, PAID Training.</strong>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Locate underground utilities such as gas lines, electrical cables, and communication lines.</li><li>Operate different electronic detection equipment and tools to locate and mark under-ground utilities.</li><li>Indicate utility locations using paint and flags.</li><li>Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify potential hazards or issues in order to maintain safety.</li><li>Utilize provided mapping tools, location information, and specialized equipment.</li><li>Prioritize work by reviewing all locate requests to determine routing.</li><li>Drive to sites in response to routine ticket requests and emergencies.</li><li>Relocate as needed to address urgent situations promptly.</li><li>Read and understand utility-provided maps/prints to identify underground utilities effectively.</li><li>Spend 95% of job time in a field environment with some administrative tasks.</li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Possess a valid driver&rsquo;s license with clean driving record</strong></li><li><strong>Pass pre-employment background and drug screening (there will be random drug testing throughout employment as well)</strong></li><li><strong>Have a High School Diploma or GED</strong></li><li id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Must be reliable and punctual for scheduled assignments</strong></li><li><strong>Must be able to lift up to 25lbs</strong></li><li>Ability to learn to utilize utility maps, records, and other resources to locate underground utility lines accurately</li><li>Ability to walk, bend, kneel, and stand outdoors for long periods of time through all kinds of terrain, including urban, suburban, and rural locations, and working under adverse conditions (heat, cold, hills, swamps, wildlife &amp; insects, high traffic areas).</li><li>Technical Aptitude &amp; familiarity with technology</li><li>Able to demonstrate the ability to follow directions, produce quality work, maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all Federal, State, and Company regulations and policies</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with team members, customers, and clients.</li><li>Prior work experience working as a Field Technician or performing in a role that services a local territory or field-based work outdoors is preferred</li></ul><p><strong>SCHEDULE:</strong></p><ul><li>Self-managed work environment.</li><li>Full-time/Day-time positions.</li><li>Some overtime may be required as well as on-call shifts occasionally and some Holidays.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>REASONS TO CHOOSE HEATH CONSULTANTS:</strong></p><ul><li>100% paid training&nbsp;&ndash; Come learn a skilled trade&hellip; on US!
