Summary: The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting, auditing, and verifying materials, processes, and products to ensure they meet Laminate Technologies' quality standards. This role plays a vital part in identifying non-conformances, documenting findings, and supporting root cause and corrective action activities. The position works closely with production and quality teams to monitor compliance and support a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform routine in-process and final product inspections using established quality procedures, tools, and documentation practices. Inspect raw materials and purchased parts for conformance to specifications. Accurately record inspection results and maintain organized, detailed documentation of findings. Identify and report any quality issues, trends, or deviations to leadership and assist in root cause analysis and corrective action. Conduct audits and verifications of processes, documentation, and finished goods per internal standards. Support quality assurance activities such as First Article Inspections, Gemba walks, and internal process checks. Follow established SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards to ensure product integrity and compliance. Assist in calibration and maintenance of measuring tools and inspection equipment. Communicate effectively with operators, supervisors, and other inspectors to resolve issues and maintain a focus on product quality. Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing facility. Understand, drive and implement the Lam Tech Quality System throughout the production plant. Follow established company and work area safety policies including the wearing of all required PPE’s. Follow established company policies, including policies and rules outlined in Member Handbook as well as procedures required in the standard operating procedures/work instructions. Other duties and responsibilities as directed by your direct leader.
