Saber serves clients locally, nationally, and abroad.</p><p><strong>Saber Power Services</strong> seeks a P&amp;C Designer III with an average minimum of eight years&rsquo; experience in electrical system design. &nbsp;Services include minimally supervised coordination of drafting team with electrical design supervision. &nbsp;Position requires technical and administrative supervision</p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Applies principles and techniques of acquired experience to accomplish tasks</li><li>Provides guidance to draftsmen</li><li>Electrical Schematic Diagrams (AC/DC): Develops three-line diagrams and detailed AC/DC schematics, including current and potential circuits, protective relaying, control systems, and alarm systems</li><li>Wiring Diagrams: Produces point-to-point wiring diagrams, terminal block layouts, and equipment wiring diagrams</li><li>Calculates, quantifies, specifies, and controls quality of material</li><li>Provides adaptations to common designs</li><li>Understands common industry practices</li><li>Works effectively in a team environment</li><li>Reports to team supervisor</li><li>Perform other job-related duties as requested by management.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Two-year associate degree or equivalent level of experience</li><li>8 years&rsquo; experience</li><li>Responsive and adaptive to ad hoc work tasks</li><li>Basic understanding of power system protection and control systems</li><li>Efficient mechanical design capabilities</li><li>Applies common practices to designs</li><li>Understands constructability of design</li><li>Understands field concepts, practices, and procedures</li><li>Proficient in AutoCAD or MicroStation. &nbsp;Knowledge of both is an advantage</li><li>Knowledge of good drafting practices</li><li><strong>Skills:</strong></li></ul><ul style=\"margin-left: 40px ;\"><li>Strong interpersonal skills</li><li>Sharp communication and writing abilities</li><li>Creative minded</li><li>Solid work ethic</li><li>Team oriented</li></ul><p>Safety is a Core Value with our organization.
