GalaxyCon is more than a comic-con, it’s a galaxy of fun! 🚀 </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">We are looking for a resourceful, enthusiastic, creative, and entrepreneurial individual to join our marketing team. You will work with a passionate team to help execute digital and social marketing and advertising campaigns. A fondness for geek culture is critical in this role, as is a digital and mobile-first mindset. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Day to Day:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Write related campaign and announcement ad copy, including post copy, headlines, and calls to action</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Deliver multiple email campaigns based on a defined email marketing plan and audience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Facilitating the marketing team’s content distribution for all social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and others</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Collaborating with the web team, programming team, talent team, operations team, and sponsors to ensure consistent and accurate messaging and branding across all platforms</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Staying updated on the latest trends, best practices, and technologies in digital marketing and pop culture</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Traveling to GalaxyCon events and coordinating with marketing team for onsite digital marketing activities, such as:</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Setting up and troubleshooting the digital screens and displays at the venue</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Posting “on the fly” videos to promote the events, sponsors, and activities on social media</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Coordinating with marketing team on last-minute changes or announcements that need to be communicated to the attendees, such as cancellations, reschedules, parking updates, and event pushes</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Other job duties as assigned<br><br></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">At least 1 years of experience in email marketing, social media management, or a similar role</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, etc</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Familiarity with web design and development tools, such as WordPress, HTML, CSS, and SEO</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Proficient in using email marketing tools, such as Mailerlite, Constant Contact, or similar</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Familiar with email marketing metrics, such as open rate, click-through rate, conversion rate, etc</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for engaging and persuasive copywriting</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Excellent organizational and project management abilities</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">A passion for comic books, pop culture, sci-fi, fantasy, anime, gaming, cosplay, and more</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">A willingness and ability to travel to GalaxyCon events, which may require working on weekends and holidays</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Paid time off, versatile hybrid in-office schedule, flexible sick days, and 401k<br><br></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
