    "description": "<h2>Role Summary</h2>\n<p>Free People is looking for a Divisional Merchandise Planning Manager who will creatively lead and manage the Free People planning team to maximize sales and profit by developing sound merchandise plans that support the company’s goals for sales, turn, and margin.</p>\n<h2>Role Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Working closely with various departments to ensure that corporate initiatives and strategies are accurately reflected in the plan and forecast of sales, inventory, and receipts</li>\n <li>Clearly communicating, developing, and providing reporting and analysis to highlight important trends and/or support key initiatives</li>\n <li>Taking trend and merchant direction and interpreting it into a profitable strategy</li>\n <li>Challenging the status quo </li>\n <li>Managing, coaching, and developing planning team</li>\n <li>Motivating/pushing the planning team to maximizing opportunities </li>\n <li>Managing the OTB and inventory for all divisions; ability to break down the business and find profit driving opportunities</li>\n <li>Supporting and developing the division through information systems </li>\n <li>Aiding in the budgeting process</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Role Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Superior financial and analytical skills</li>\n <li>Strong management skills</li>\n <li>Results oriented</li>\n <li>Creative problem solver/ “outside the box” thinker</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills</li>\n <li>Works well in teams</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>The Perks</h2>\n<p>URBN offers comprehensive Perks & Benefits to employees.
