We are a local legacy Teamsters Union contractor and we need safe, smart, dedicated employees who are ready to take on a fulfilling career change as a concrete Mixer Driver for Geneva Rock Products.</p>\n<p>DUTIES:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain a Commercial Driver License (CDL) and Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Card.</li>\n <li>Deliver concrete to each job in a safe and efficient manner, within the specification as instructed on our delivery ticket.</li>\n <li>Keep assigned equipment clean and free of debris.</li>\n <li>Use reclaimer and washout facilities responsibly.</li>\n <li>Assist with routine maintenance tasks.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>One year of mixer driving experience or equivalent (preferred, but not required). We are willing to train CDL holders without experience.</li>\n <li>Good safety record with strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Ability to work well with others in a team environment while providing excellent customer service.</li>\n <li>Ability to follow instructions and work long hours, especially during the busy season.</li>\n <li>Ability to lift at least 65 pounds and knowledge of DOT compliance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS/SAFETY:</p>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by our Team Members in order to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.</p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Sitting</strong>: 50% of time</li>\n <li><strong>Standing: </strong>20% of time</li>\n <li><strong>Driving: </strong>30% of time</li>\n <li><strong>Weight Lifted: </strong>Must frequently be able to lift and carry up to 65 pounds. May occasionally lift items above their heads.</li>\n <li><strong>Physical Movement</strong>: May frequently be required to walk over uneven ground, balance, stoop/crouch, kneel, grab and hold objects. Required to climb the ladder on the truck several times a day.</li>\n <li><strong>Speaking / Listening</strong>: Need to be able to communicate well with customers, dispatch, supervisors in addition to receiving and following instructions, and understanding and following safety requirements.</li>\n <li><strong>Working Conditions: </strong>40% of time will be spent working outside in the elements.
