          "text": "<p>CEDA is looking to hire Project Controls Coordinator for our Fort McMurray, AB location. CEDA&#xa0;will be working with one of their clients to reassemble their entire dredge, as well as assemble a marina and an electrical barge on site.</p><p>The Project Controls Coordinator is responsible for supporting a Dredge project to implement standard project controls. You will work with various functions though out CEDA, to ensure that projects are executed in accordance with the approved plans and schedules.</p><p><strong>***We are proactively building a candidate pool for a potential upcoming project. Recruitment activity will progress based on project confirmation***</strong></p><p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Shift:</strong>&#xa0;14/7 rotation, 12-hour days</li><li>Accommodation provided</li><li><strong>Overtime Eligible</strong></li><li>Direct flights to client&#xa0;site via from Edmonton or Calgary</li><li>A supportive team culture where&#xa0;<strong>safety, integrity, and accountability</strong>&#xa0;are at the core of everything we do</li></ul><p><strong>Key Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Ensuring that projects are setup and managed in accordance with the company policies and procedures</li><li>Participating in the development of the project control plans by assisting with the development of work scope definitions, preliminary estimates, budgets, plans, schedules scope change and resource requirements</li><li>Providing overall project cost, schedule, progress measurement, and change management support</li><li>Providing input and direction in the initial project planning phases</li><li>Confirming and validating the job scope</li><li>Working directly with operational divisions, providing support in all project control related areas including cost control, progress measurement and schedule control</li><li>Assisting with the implementation and progressing of Client's Project Control initiatives</li><li>Providing reports as directed by the Maintenance Manager</li><li>Accountable to develop tools as required to support project controls</li></ul><p><strong>Role Specifications</strong></p><ul><li>Background in accounting or cost control is an asset</li><li>5+ years of project controls experience with cost and schedule control</li><li>Advanced knowledge of project controls principles, theories, concepts, practices, processes and expectations with respect to project controls</li><li>Versed in the MS Office Suite of products (Word, Excel) and MS Project (Primavera)</li><li>Your prior experience providing project control support in the Industrial Services Industry is an asset</li><li>Your Project Management Professional certification is an asset</li></ul>",
