(plus $3/hr. shift differential)</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\"><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Monitor day-to-day fabrication operations to ensure machines are running efficiently and parts are produced in accordance with established process parameters.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Review SPC data, part measurements, and visual checks to confirm machining consistency and identify process drift before defects occur.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Serve as a technical resource to operators for machine setup, tooling, program adjustments, and troubleshooting of minor process issues.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Partner with Fabrication Lead and Production Engineering to maintain and improve process capability, throughput, and equipment utilization.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Assist with scheduling priorities, workflow coordination and communication of production needs on off-shifts.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Support new operator training and provide on-the-floor mentorship to ensure adherence to standard work and process discipline.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Support the enforcement of department safety initiatives, including fire drill coordination, safety walkthroughs, and adherence to facility standards.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Act as the departments point person on off-shifts, assisting the Fabrication Lead and Shop Manager with communication, troubleshooting, and production continuity.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Conduct in-process inspections and support corrective actions when quality or process deviations are identified.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Assist with process documentation updates, work instruction reviews, and implementation pf process improvements.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Communicate process or equipment concerns promptly to the Fabrication Lead or Shop Manager for resolutions.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Provide machine coverage when production demands, training, or downtime require additional operator support.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">&nbsp;<strong>ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES</strong><strong>:&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Participate in cross-departmental improvement projects as assigned.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Support training of new fabrication personnel as directed.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">All other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE: &nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Trade school and / or N.Y.S.
