These might include:</li></ul><p>- Calculations for sizing and design of oil containment systems</p><p>- Runoff/drainage calculations for design of stormwater conveyance/retention systems</p><p>- Calculations for analysis and design of substation structures, foundations and rigid-bus</p><p>- Sag-tension calculations for strain bus design</p><p></p><p>Proficiency in the use of structural analysis software preferred (i.e. STAAD.Pro)</p><ul><li>Provide engineering for substation capital projects</li><li>Complete grounding, lightning shielding, and lighting studies</li><li>Prepare station configuration and layouts</li><li>Work with project planners to develop substation solutions</li><li>Develop station project functional and detail scoping documents working with all project stakeholders</li><li>Assist project managers with the development and maintenance of station engineering activities and deliverables within Primavera P6 project schedules</li><li>Oversee work performed by internal designers or consulting engineering firms on the design of select projects</li><li>Provide support to construction and professional field service personnel to resolve issues and concerns during the construction phase of projects</li><li>Collaborate with various departments during the course of the project</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we’re looking for: </b></p><p><b>Engineer/<span>Engineering Technologist</span> Associate SG6 </b></p><ul><li>This is an entry level position for new graduates with a Bachelor&#39;s degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET*;</li><li>Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering examination in preparation for future licensing as a Professional Engineer (PE) is encouraged and preferred.</li></ul><p>**Individuals with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology can satisfy this degree requirement, if they obtain a certified Professional Engineering (PE) license. </p><p></p><p><b>Engineer/ <span>Engineering Technologist</span> SG7 </b></p><ul><li>Has typically acquired a Bachelor&#39;s degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET* along with two or more years of related engineering experience.</li><li>Individuals with a Master&#39;s degree in engineering from an engineering program accredited by ABET* may be considered for entry into the organization at this level.</li></ul><p>*ABET - Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.</p><p><i>Acceptable alternative is:</i></p><ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in engineering (non-ABET) plus a Master&#39;s degree or PhD in engineering from a university with an ABET accredited Bachelor&#39;s program.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Engineering Technologist SG7</b></p><ul><li>Has typically acquired 2 or more years of related experience in work activities and projects requiring the application of engineering technology principles;</li><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in engineering technology* in a program accredited by ABET**.<br /> </li></ul><p>*A degree in engineering technology is the preferred degree: however, engineering degrees will also be considered.<br />**ABET -
