The Saw Operator will be responsible for performing all saw department responsibilities in accordance with set standards and company policy. This role is located in <strong>Lake Zurich, IL</strong> and will be fully on-site. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Hourly Pay Range</strong>: $18.00 - $25.00/hr</p>\n<p><strong>Work Schedule</strong>: 2nd Shift (4:00 pm - 2:30 am) | Monday - Thursday</p>\n<p><strong>Pay Schedule</strong>: Weekly</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Wieland, we recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company. Employment is contingent upon the applicant's ability to comply with these requirements. </em></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Saw Operator </strong><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have the ability to understand proper set up and use of band saws</li>\n <li>Prepare/understand all forms and reports pertaining to the processing of product</li>\n <li>Must have knowledge with tape measure, caliper, square</li>\n <li>Proper material handling</li>\n <li>Stack and load product on trailers, skids and material handling carts</li>\n <li>Operate forklifts, manual and electric pallet jacks, overhead cranes\n  <ul>\n   <li>Must be a certified forklift driver on the sit-down forklift and stand up Raymond side loader forklift within 90 days of employment</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Communicate with other warehouse production department personnel</li>\n <li>Efficiently stage product in and out of saw locations</li>\n <li>Use Vantage as a tool for inventory adjustments, inventory location, inventory inquiries, print pick lists, distribution orders</li>\n <li>Know how to change forklift LP tanks and how to properly charge forklift batteries</li>\n <li>Proper raw material handling, moving and identification</li>\n <li>Participate in production department housekeeping</li>\n <li>Participate in cycle counting and inventory integrity</li>\n <li>Continuously model Wieland Core Values</li>\n <li>Follow safety rules </li>\n <li>Work overtime when necessary</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>\n <li>Activities as assigned related to and in support of the Quality and Environmental Management System</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Saw Operator Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to follow written and verbal instructions</li>\n <li>Good written and verbal communication</li>\n <li>Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</li>\n <li>Knowledge of basic mathematics</li>\n <li>High school diploma or GED required</li>\n <li>Trained and licensed in operation of forklifts</li>\n <li>Driver’s license</li>\n <li>Forklift license</li>\n <li><em>This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”), and the ability to access and handle ITAR “Technical Data” as defined by 22 CFR § 120.15 is an essential function.
