    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Psychiatric Care Provider (Psychiatrist/APRN/PA)</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Summary:</span></p>\n<p>A psychiatrist or a psychiatric prescriber working for a minimum of four (4) hours per week per twenty (20) consumers, who provides clinical and crisis services to all consumers served by the ACT team, works with the ACT team leader to monitor each consumer’s clinical status and response to treatment, and directs psychopharmacologic and medical treatment;</p>\n<p>Provides psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and clinical direction as a core member of the ACT team.</p>\n<p>ACT is an intensive, integrated, rehabilitative, crisis, treatment, and mental health community support service provided by an interdisciplinary team to individuals eighteen (18) and over with serious and persistent mental illness with dedicated staff time and specific staff-to-consumer ratios.</p>\n<p>Service coverage by the ACT team is required twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week. Provides co-occurring disorders treatment using evidence-based and stage-appropriate interventions.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct psychiatric evaluations and prescribe treatment.</li>\n<li>Provide ongoing medication management and education.</li>\n<li>Attend team meetings and collaborate on treatment plans.</li>\n<li>Supervise NP or PA staff (if applicable).</li>\n<li>Support staff training and emergency consultation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Licensed Psychiatrist, NP (PMHNP), or PA in DC.</li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years’ experience with SPMI population.</li>\n<li>Active clinical supervision and on-call responsibilities.</li>\n<li>Not eligible for telehealth delivery for ACT services.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Experienced in motivational interviewing and harm reduction</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary:</span></p>\n<p>Negotiable</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Additional Notes</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.<br></li>\n</ul>",
