The chosen candidate shall work with individuals to promote their active participation so that they can take part in meaningful everyday activities, regardless of their level of ability. Therefore, giving those they support more control, improve their confidence and increase their independence. </span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">What you'll be doing</span><br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Work with individuals during their daily participation in activities to ensure their active engagement to the best of their potential.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Support individuals during the provision of services in all possible aspects, including daily feeding needs, hygiene aspects, toileting and changing as well as supporting during transitions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Work with the client during animal interaction and therapeutic horseback riding.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Work with the individuals in the pool during pool sessions, following the guidance of the Instructor/therapist.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Carry out activities together with the individuals as recommended by therapists in the multisensory rooms.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Actively support individuals during vocational training where appropriate.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Carry out transport supervision according to the exigencies of the programme.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Follow the therapists’ recommendations depending on the needs of each individual.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Follow tutors, teacher’s, and therapist’s recommendations depending on the SMART goals of each individual.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Follow each individuals Behaviour Support Plans, Risk Assessments, Sensory Profiles under the guidance of the tutors/therapists.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Actively support individuals in the participation of sessions according to the curriculum/activities as planned.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">The Support Worker may be required to research and find creative ways in which sessions can be delivered depending on each individual/group’s needs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">The Support Worker may be required to assist the tutors/teachers/therapists with delivering sessions in small groups according to the curriculum/activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">What we’re looking for</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">The ideal candidate should be a collaborative, supportive, dedicated and experienced, carer professional ready to support and assist our service users throughout different activities/sessions during the daily programme operations.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\"><br>Qualifications &amp; Experience</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">A recognised ‘Qualification’ at MQF Level 3 or higher (minimum of 60 ECTS/ECVET) in the health and social care.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Previous experience within disability field (autism spectrum disorder/challenging behavior).</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">High proficiency in English language (both spoken and written).</span></span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;
