This position involves assisting guests with luggage, vehicle management, and ensuring the overall safety and security of the property. The Bell/Valet Associate also provides light maintenance assistance and collaborates with other departments to ensure an unparalleled customer service.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Guest Services</strong></p><ul><li>Greet guests promptly and courteously, providing assistance with luggage and personal belongings.</li><li>Escort guests to their rooms and familiarize them with hotel features and amenities.</li><li>Deliver packages, messages, and other items as required.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Hotel Operations</strong></p><ul><li>Safely park and retrieve vehicles, adhering to ticketing and inspection protocols.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bell stand and valet areas.</li><li>Record guest service details accurately in logs and forms.</li><li>Prepare for group arrivals and departures, ensuring proper luggage handling and room readiness.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Safety and Security</strong></p><ul><li>Monitor pedestrian traffic and patrol public areas, guest floors, and perimeters.</li><li>Identify and report safety hazards promptly.</li><li>Adhere to hotel life safety systems and emergency procedures.</li></ul><p><strong>General Maintenance</strong></p><ul><li>Address minor maintenance issues such as replacing light bulbs or handling minor plumbing concerns.</li></ul><p><strong>Other Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Assist Front Desk staff with calls, directions, taxi requests, and guest inquiries.</li><li>Collaborate with Housekeeping to maintain public spaces.</li><li>Complete event setups, break downs and servicing of meetings as directed by the General Manager.</li><li>Communicate effectively using radio and other tools.</li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager or Front Desk.</li></ul><p><br></p>",
