In addition, Schroders oversee around GBP200bn in solutions mandates, approximately half of which are allocated to fixed income and credit. Our Global Credit Research platform, which plays a key role in within the fixed income platform, is centralized in three key hubs—New York, London, and Singapore.</span></p>\n<p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p>\n<p><span>We are seeking an experienced Project Finance Analyst to join Schroders’ Public Bond Credit Research team on a fixed-term basis (initially one year, with potential for extension).&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span>This role will focus on strengthening our analytical capability in the rapidly expanding AI data centre debt market—an area of increasing importance given rising issuance volumes and growing portfolio exposure.&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Assisting credit analysis of AI data centre debt issuance within public bond portfolios&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Develop a robust framework for assessing project finance risks in digital infrastructure assets&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Evaluate highly leveraged capital structures</span></li>\n <li><span>Analyse key risk factors including:&nbsp;</span>\n  <ul>\n   <li><span>Construction and execution risk&nbsp;</span></li>\n   <li><span>Changes in cost of debt and capital structure dynamics&nbsp;</span></li>\n   <li><span>Credit rating methodology shifts&nbsp;</span></li>\n   <li><span>Counterparty / anchor tenant creditworthiness&nbsp;</span></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><span>Challenge and refine existing assumptions.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Provide clear, actionable insights to fellow analysts and portfolio managers to support investment decisions and client communication&nbsp;</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Candidate Profile:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Minimum 5+ years’ experience in project finance, infrastructure finance, or structured credit&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong preference for experience in data centres, digital infrastructure, or adjacent sectors&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Deep understanding of project finance structures and risk drivers versus corporate credit&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Demonstrated ability to analyse complex, large-scale financing arrangements&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical findings to investment and client-facing teams&nbsp;</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>This is a high-impact role addressing a critical gap in our current research platform.&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span>With significant and growing exposure to AI data centre debt across portfolios, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring Schroders remains ahead of emerging risks in this space.&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><strong>Compensation</strong></span><br><span>Schroders offers a base salary in the range of $150,000 - $200,000 for this position.</span></p>\n<p><br><span>This range reflects the Company’s good faith belief at the time of posting.
