Opportunities for career advancement, excellent benefits and long-term stability are some of the advantages of our growing, employee-focused company.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Salary</strong></p>\n<p>The typical annual salary range for this position is $135,000.00 USD to $165,000.00 USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>System Engineering</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for military, communications, aerospace, scientific, and general computing applications</li>\n <li>Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements</li>\n <li>May design embedded systems software</li>\n <li>Apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis</li>\n <li>Working at the customers site with government personnel to ensure program success</li>\n <li>Evaluate hardware interface documents to design/build equipment such as cable and interface box for interfacing with multiple hardware</li>\n <li>Design, build, and maintain test equipment and test rack for supporting integration and test activities</li>\n <li>Provide clear and unambiguous requirements to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for correction and designs for EW systems such as APR-39, AAQ-24 and AAQ-45 programs along with the evaluation and analysis of system performance</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Test and Evaluation</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Review and provide input to the OEM Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) and witnessing the ATP at the OEM facility</li>\n <li>Testing and validating the Operational Flight Program (OFP), Mission Data Files, and/or User Data Modules for the APR-39, AAQ-24 and AAQ-45</li>\n <li>Responsible for the test planning, identifying resources required, and execute the test</li>\n <li>Generate a test reports in accordance with the current MDEWSSA IPT processes</li>\n <li>Document any defect found during testing using the Defect Management System</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Technical Documentation & Management</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conducting an Engineering Review Board (ERB)</li>\n <li>Writing and updating intermediate and final technical documents including system requirements and design specifications/documents, white papers, and engineering notes</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Participate in project related meetings (milestone reviews, agile ceremonies, status, design, etc.), and both host and conduct technical meetings and teleconferences</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Between 3 to 10 years of experience performing the duties described in the Functional Description</li>\n <li>Experience with Visual Studio development environment software</li>\n <li>Experience with C++, C#, Microsoft ActiveX; and Python object or component oriented development software</li>\n <li>Experience with Microsoft and Linux operating systems</li>\n <li>Experience with creating and evaluating schematics diagrams</li>\n <li>Experience applying electrical and communication concepts and standards such as power budget analysis and MIL-STD-1553</li>\n <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening—for staff, customer and organizational level communications, both formal and informal</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently; self-starter</li>\n <li>Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Degree: </strong>Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.</p>\n<p><strong>CLEARANCE</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Condition of Employment:</strong>  Must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred) and be able to maintain it.
