This position is responsible for mentoring the Eligibility Specialists that are assisting Indiana residents who are applying and/or receiving public assistance.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Eligibility Specialist Working Lead will act as a liaison between Knowledge Services, DFR Management, and the Eligibility Specialist. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and have the ability to work collaboratively with current Eligibility Specialists. We are guided by our four Pillars that set the foundation of who we are and how we conduct business:  Knowledge, Integrity, Innovation, and Service. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Mentor Eligibility Specialists staff</li>\n <li>Travel to DFR offices within the Region as scheduled/needed (daily/weekly travel)</li>\n <li>Support and coach ALL Eligibility Specialist staff</li>\n <li>Ensure policies and procedures are followed as instructed by DFR Local Office Management</li>\n <li>Instruct and implement procedural changes from management</li>\n <li>Submit daily and weekly reporting of activities conducted while assisting Eligibility Specialist staff</li>\n <li>Provides further direction and ongoing training to Eligibility Specialist staff</li>\n <li>Provide training support for case reviews for Eligibility Specialist staff</li>\n <li>Provide coaching for QA scorecards </li>\n <li>Production support provided as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Eligibility Specialist experience is required</li>\n <li>Highly organized and analytical</li>\n <li>Able to provide clear and concise direction</li>\n <li>Leadership skills</li>\n <li>Patience in working with others</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal skills</li>\n <li>Solid computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook</li>\n <li>Independent worker who is a self-starter</li>\n <li>Strong customer service background</li>\n <li>Prefer a Bachelor or Associate degrees in Counseling or Social Services, but High School Diploma or GED required</li>\n <li>2 years’ experience is desired</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This position is one where you can make an immediate impact on your community and those that work as an Eligibility Specialist.
