By offering mentorship and robust Training and Development opportunities, IND<u>US</u> continues its pursuit to be the Employer of Choice. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Reporting to the Program Manager, the <strong>Deputy Program Manager (PM), Army Depot Operations </strong>will directly support the Program Manager (PM) in achieving HWAD program objectives, and serve as the Acting Program Manager in the absence of the PM. The DPM for Installation Operations/Facility Management is one of two DPMs and has program-wide responsibility with day-to-day focus on all Maintenance operations (including equipment maintenance, infrastructure/real property maintenance, TMDE and a wide array of services), Security and Key Control, Fire and Emergency Services, IT support and GFE management. The DPM Installation Operations/Facility Management will monitor and manage HWAD Installation Operations/Facility Management performance, risk, cost and schedule; detect and alert the PM of any material negative deviations; and develop/implement recovery plans as needed. The DPM for Installation Operations/Facility Management manages the submission and quality review of all deliverables, and the submission of frequent and rapid-turnaround contract modification proposals (technical and cost).</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a <strong>contingent</strong> position expected to be located in <strong>Hawthorne, NV</strong>. The pay range for the position will be provided at the time the position is no longer contingent. </p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Support the PM's efforts to maintain a positive organizational climate with the highest professional and ethical standards.</li>\n <li>Plan, execute, monitor and control personnel and financial resources.</li>\n <li>Ensure that all required actions are adequately planned and that all projects and tasks under the contract run within scope, time, and budget constraints.</li>\n <li>Manage multiple teams led by subordinate managers and/or supervisors, including subcontractor personnel.</li>\n <li>Develop program status reports.</li>\n <li>Interface with senior Government personnel, technical and non-technical staff, subcontractors, and support personnel.</li>\n <li>Support process improvement and innovation.</li>\n <li>As delegated by the Program Manager, has hiring, firing, promotion and reward authority within the HWAD program. </li>\n <li>Bid and proposal support if requested.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We're Looking For</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>An <strong>active</strong> secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.</li>\n <li><p>Associate’s degree in engineering, science, business, or related field with 15+ years of relevant management experience <strong><em>OR</em> </strong>Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, business, or related field with eight (8) years of relevant management experience <strong><em>OR </em></strong>Master's degree with six (6) or more years of relevant management experience.</p></li>\n <li><p>Within the last (10) ten years, (6) six of those years he/she must have supervised a minimum of 100 personnel in installation operations/facility management.</p></li>\n <li><p>Must possess at least 12 years of overall experience in installation operations/facility management.</p></li>\n <li><p>Must have a working knowledge of computers. Within four (4) months of hiring, must be proficient through day-to-day demonstrated performance and use of maintenance management and property accountability systems.</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience effectively communicating at senior levels within a customer organization and meeting with stakeholders to formulate, review, and execute task plans and deliverable items.</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience presenting briefings to senior customer management, customer stakeholders, and company management.</p></li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience applying project management principles using industry best practices such as the PMBOK.</li>\n <li><p>Must have progressive experience managing projects/programs with P/L responsibility. </p></li>\n <li><p>Must have four (4) years of recent experience as a contractor program/project manager on large (over $150M total value) DoD programs.</p></li>\n <li><p>Must be fluent in speaking and writing the English Language.</p></li>\n <li><p>Must possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills. </p></li>\n <li><p>Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</p></li>\n <li><p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </p></li>\n <li><p>Demonstrated problem-solving skills. </p></li>\n <li><p>Must possess strong time management skills. </p></li>\n <li><p>Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.</p></li>\n <li><p>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or DAWIA Level III in Program Management. </li>\n <li>Master’s degree in engineering, science, business, or related field. </li>\n <li>Prior US Army Materiel Command experience, ideally within the Joint Munitions Command.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must also be able to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking.</li>\n <li>The ability to lift items that may weigh up to 50 pounds. </li>\n <li>The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods of standing, or recurring and considerable walking, stooping, bending, crouching, and climbing such as performing regular shop activities, inspections, or to observe and study operations in an industrial or comparable work area, or on-board ships, submarines, and/or in weapon facilities. </li>\n <li>The ability to operate heavy machinery and industrial tools with limited to no supervision.
