Do you have an interest in shaping the future of City Market Co-Op, while providing the critical service of providing a wide variety of local, organic, and conventional products at a fair price? If you are interested in working for a community-owned business and playing an active role in our vibrant local food system, then we would love to hear from you!</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Day-to-Day Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinating the procurement and merchandising of all house-produced packaged, vendor-produced, and related items.</li><li>Ensuring the Grab &amp; Go cases (and surrounding areas) are well stocked, maintained and cleaned.</li><li>Communicating with vendors and other departments to ensure optimum stock levels of all Grab &amp; Go and related items.</li><li>Assisting the Prepared Foods Manager in the filing of invoices and return vouchers.</li><li>Compliance with established City Market procedures and practices regarding operations, sales, safety, and security.</li><li>May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>One year of kitchen experience OR two years of deli/food service experience required.</li><li>High School diploma or GED preferred.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ServSafe certification preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of natural and conventional foods and the food industry helpful.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>Store discounts; free fitness classes, award-winning Wellness Program; Employee Assistance Plan; paid volunteer time; affordable &amp; comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurances; paid time off; 401k with 6% match; spending accounts &amp; more!</p><p><br></p>",
