This role provides invaluable, hands-on experience in generating technical documentation, assisting with design studies, and understanding regulatory compliance within a dynamic, technology-driven environment.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Core Responsibilities (Duties)</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Design Support &amp; Visualization:</span> Assist the project team with design studies, model-making (physical and digital), and preparing graphic presentations and architectural renderings for client and stakeholder meetings.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Drafting and Drawing Production:</span> Under the direct supervision of a Project Architect, assist in the production and modification of design development (SACAP Stage 3) and technical documentation (SACAP Stage 4) drawings in Revit.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Documentation Administration:</span> Support the organisation and management of project files, drawing registers, and project communication, ensuring accurate record-keeping and version control.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Regulatory Research:</span> Conduct research into the National Building Regulations (NBR), local zoning schemes, and specific by-laws to ensure drawings and design solutions are compliant.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Coordination Assistance:</span> Assist the technical team in coordinating architectural drawings with input from internal engineers and external consultants.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Site and Meeting Support:</span> Attend site visits and project meetings to take minutes, observe construction progress, and gain practical exposure to the construction process.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education:</span> Recent graduate of a professional degree in Architecture (BTech, BArch, or MArch) from an accredited institution.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Registration Status:</span> Must be registered or eligible for immediate registration as a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Candidate Architectural Technologist, Candidate Senior Architectural Technologist or Candidate Architect</span> with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP).</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical Proficiency:</span> Must have experience using <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Revit</span> for architectural drafting and modelling.
