We are a company that strives for a healthy life-work balance and a dog-friendly environment.</span></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: bold\">Position Description:</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">This position requires California commercial electrician certification</span>. Superintendent acts as primary leader and manager of field construction on a project. Superintendent manages the specific parts of the project budget (e.g. field labor, equipment) as defined by the Project Manager.</span></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Implement and monitor the Safety Plan for the project and ensure all subcontractors comply with the Safety Plan. Create and implement site specific Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Collaborate with Project Manager and Lead Engineer to create project’s milestone schedule.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Plan, coordinate, schedule and dispatch specific crews and individual installers to jobsites to perform field work activities per the project schedule.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">• Oversee and manage project timeline and budget.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Optimize the profitability of the company through field planning and efficiency yet without jeopardizing the quality, safety or timely completion of the project.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Walk through projects with client and Project Manager for punch list. Monitor and complete outstanding issues: company punch list then client punch list.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Review BOM (bill of materials) and verify correct materials delivery in time to maintain work flow.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Perform site walks and pre-construction evaluation.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Coordinate deliveries, handling, storage and placement of materials on the jobsite.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Review and analyze Cost Report Information.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Oversee daily time reporting, review, and approve Foreperson’s hours through our timekeeping application (WorkMax) to ensure 100% accuracy and compliance of reported time.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Manage, develop and support Foreperson in their accountabilities (e.g., organize their work, execute safety programs, meet the client’s project mission, report on jobsite progress and approve timesheets daily)</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Assess Foreperson’s performance providing constructive feedback on what they are doing well and specific areas of improvement so that each team member can improve their performance.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Work in close collaboration with HR to address any disciplinary issues and establish performance improvement plans, if required, in order to support team members to improve their performance.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Respond promptly to payroll's requests for correction to time reporting.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Responsible, with the Project Manager, for project conformance with the agreement and Contract Documents (plans, specifications, clarifications, etc.)</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Prepare and manage the company’s designated project management and collaboration apps for all assigned jobs, which will include current plans, contract docs, and photos.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Perform other duties as assigned.</span></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ACTIVE CALIFORNIA COMMERCIAL JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN STATUS REQUIRED.</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Experience managing teams to meet deadlines on time and on budget.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Proven experience managing work sites and crew members including providing appropriate action and coaching to improve behavior and/or performance.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Previous experience teaching Installers the basic practices of PV preferred.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Knowledge of AC and DC electrical systems and National Electric Code.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Ability to commission PV systems and troubleshoot common problems (i.e. ground faults, polarity).</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Basic carpentry skills.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• OSHA 10-hour training or equivalent</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to prioritize work assignments</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft office suite programs</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Ability to work in extreme environments (hot sun, light rain, crawl spaces or attics, steep roofs in a harness).</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Licensed, or willingness to become licensed, to drive forklift, scissor and boom lifts.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Current CA driver license with acceptable driving record.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Ability to lift at least 75 pounds; comfortable climbing ladders and working at unusual heights.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">• Four-year college degree or equivalent preferred.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: bold\">Benefits:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Sun Light &amp; Power offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes, but is not limited to:</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Health </span>- <span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"> </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Sun Light &amp; Power offers 8 different medical plans through Health Net and Kaiser.
