Equine Center for Learning Barnyard Brainpower Summer Camps LSEA

The Lansing School District serves over 10,000 PreK-12 students across 25 school buildings in the increasingly diverse urban community of Lansing, MI. For summer school, we are looking for a variety of roles (see job posting title). Internal applicants in the aligned bargaining unit will receive preference. Equine Center for Learning Barnyard Brainpower - Reading, Writing, and Reflection Summer Camp and Math in Motion Summer Camp for 2nd - 5th grade students. This camp blends academics with hands-on horse activities to help students build confidence before the upcoming school year. Horse activities will be incorporated to keep learning engaging, active, and enjoyable. Students will get hands-on time with horses through a variety of activities. Horse experience is not required but preferred. Staff will be responsible for working with ECL Program Manager and ECL Arena Programming Coordinator to put together lessons curated for students to continue growing in their literacy and math skills in conjunction with HorsePowered reading and math.
