The Counselor Tech Tier I position is not authorized to provide AOD Services to program participants unless registered or certified. Essential Job Functions include those listed below. </span></p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><strong><u>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</u></strong></span></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\">Ensure the security of the facility through the continuous monitoring of the grounds and facility.</span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\">General client supervision in daily living activities and general program operation.</span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\">Make copies of necessary program paperwork.</span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\">Place documentation in client files.</span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\">Ensure all scheduled activities occur at the specified time.</span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\">Prepare client activity reports and other reports as requested.</span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\">Search incoming property and shopping bags.</span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\">Conduct medication calls at specified timeframes and according to policy.</span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\">Ensure assignments given to residents are completed.</span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\">Ensure that residents comply with program rules.</span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\">Monitor trip logs and conduct visual contact searches to ensure residents returning to the facility are not under the influence of any substance.</span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\">Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility. </span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\">Must Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision, and goals of WestCare Foundation; and</span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\">Perform all other duties as assigned.</span></li>\r\n</ul>",
