font-size: 15px\">Under the supervision of a Lead Testing Tech or Operations Superintendent, assists with general labor tasks related to electrical power industry.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Duties and Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Essential Functions:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Complies with and ensures compliance with all EnerG Test safety policies and procedures. </span></li>\n<li><span>Complies with and ensures compliance with all EnerG Test employment policies and procedures including standards of conduct and appearance to reflect positively on the Company.</span></li>\n<li><span>Responsible for daily material handling and housekeeping.</span></li>\n<li><span>Safeguards and maintains EnerG Test equipment, material, tools, and vehicles.</span></li>\n<li><span>Assists with shop organization<span>, moving and set up of test equipment</span>.</span></li>\n<li><span>Assists Substation Technicians as directed by Operations Superintendent<span>,</span> when required. </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Observes</span> insulation and contact resistance testing on medium voltage and low voltage circuit breakers. </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Observes</span> insulation and contact resistance testing on medium voltage and low voltage switches. </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Ob</span><span>serves</span> cable testing.</span></li>\n<li><span>Performs other tasks as assigned by the project supervisor.</span></li>\n<li><span>Assists project supervisor with material handling paperwork as needed.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; text-decoration: underline\">Physical Requirements:</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Working 40 hours/week, scheduled in 8 to 10-hour shifts.</span></li>\n<li><span>Standing and climbing 4 to 6 hours/day.</span></li>\n<li><span>Kneeling, lifting, reaching above shoulders, and bending 4 to 5 hours/day.</span></li>\n<li><span>Twisting (180</span><span>°</span><span> ) and walking 2 to 3 hours/day.</span></li>\n<li><span>Squatting and sitting 1 to 2 hours/day.</span></li>\n<li><span>Lifting weights of 0 to 75 lbs. at the following frequencies: continuous lifting of 10 to 35 lbs.; frequent lifting of 35 to 50 lbs.; occasional lifting of 50 to 75 lbs.; sizes &amp; shapes of objects vary from concrete blocks to cylinders to 10’ lengths of metallic conduit and 20' lengths of PVC conduit; average carry requirements, 60 lbs. for 40'.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to lift from floor to above shoulder.</span></li>\n<li><span>Repetitive use of hands includes: continuous grasping up to 50 lbs.; frequent pushing and pulling of 50 to 75 lbs.; and fine motor coordination for receptacle installation and wire terminations.</span></li>\n<li><span>Repetitive use of feet is required for operating heavy equipment, conduit benders and vertical climbing.</span></li>\n<li><span>Vision adequate for blueprint reading and color coding for wire identification.</span></li>\n<li><span>Balance adequate for continuous climbing of ladders, scaffolds, and lifts.</span></li>\n<li><span>Environmental factors include working in: temperature extremes of 0</span><span>°</span><span> F to 100</span><span>°</span><span> F; up to 8 hours inside or outside; atmospheric exposure to dust, gases, fumes, and odors within the Permissible Exposure Limits (PEL).</span></li>\n<li><span>Special hazards include exposure to mechanical, electrical, chemical, and potentially explosive hazards.</span></li>\n<li><span>Personal protective equipment includes use of hard hat, safety glasses, protected-toe boots, and appropriate gloves for the task.
