Find out more at <a href=\"http://www.miraclon.com/\" target=\"_blank\">www.miraclon.com</a>, and follow us on <a href=\"https://www.linkedin.com/company/miraclon-corporation/\" target=\"_blank\">LinkedIn</a> and <a href=\"https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAZGpziB6Lq_Kx8ROgoMdCA/featured\" target=\"_blank\">YouTube</a>.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Position Description:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The Flexo Production Team Leader or Manufacturing Supervisor reports to the Plant Manager and will have hands-on supervisory leadership of production crews and the coordination of activities in the production departments, including safety, quality, training, scheduling, maintenance, productivity, inventory control and cost.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Leadership of continuous improvement activities including goal setting, performance measurement and feedback communication to all groups.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Recruitment, selection, and training of team members to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the production function.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensures all inventories in raw materials &amp; finished goods are accurate and correct in factory.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Sets expectations and monitors employee performance, including appropriate corrective actions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prioritizes activities based on production timing, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provides budgetary recommendations on capital expenditure</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develops a deep understanding of the process and product</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure process-level documentation is in place and accurate in use</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Plan, organize and direct the production resource functions which ensure the most effective return for quality and yield performance.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assure attainment of business objectives and productions schedules while ensuring product standards that will exceed our customers&rsquo; expectations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support manufacturing strategies and action plans to ensure that the facility supports Miraclon&rsquo;s strategic initiatives.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Establish group and individual accountabilities throughout assigned departments for problem</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">solving and cost reduction, both on a permanent and ad-hoc basis, depending on need.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Encourage use of new techniques and focus on fact-based problem solving.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manage spending against budget and in relation to changes in production volume.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work to establish management practices throughout all plant areas which include all employees&rsquo; positive involvement with opportunity for constructive input and action.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain individual skills to keep up to date with latest production and engineering management concepts.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br><strong><em>Financial Responsibility</em></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsible for meeting budget expectations for the Production departments and supporting overall plant objectives.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br><strong><em>Complexity</em></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This position interacts with all plant functions; a firm understanding of Quality, Human Resources, and Corporate groups such as Procurement, Supply &amp; Planning, New Product Introduction, R&amp;D and Continuous Improvement. This role must understand how the business is run regarding plant objectives and general regulatory guidelines.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Direction of product and plant operations and employee relations require significant manufacturing knowledge as well as advanced interpersonal and supervisory skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong Leadership and experience in managing direct reports</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Good Microsoft Office skills &ndash; in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
