WHO ARE WE? Argon 18’s mission is to merge creativity and technology to build a global cycling brand driven by performance, fueled by local passion. Since 1989, and more recently with the opening of a European office in Denmark, the Montreal-based company has been bringing together cycling enthusiasts to create exceptional bikes designed to ride out of the ordinary. Today, Argon 18 bikes are ridden on the roads, tracks and trails of more than 70 countries worldwide. THE ROLE We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Agent to develop our business relationships and grow sales on the West Coast of the USA. This opportunity is open to Sales Agencies or Independent Sales Agents who are eager to secure new dealers, onboard them to the sales program, achieve sales targets and provide excellent service in the states of Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Achieve the sales objectives for the designated territory. Collaborate with the Head of Sales to forecast sales by account and by month. Manage account relationships and communications. Develop relationships with potential dealers and facilitate the opening of a new account with internal stakeholders. Clearly explain the sales program, including terms and conditions offered to dealers, to secure sales orders. Collaborate with Customer Service to ensure orders are properly entered in the ERP and warranty claims are handled in a timely fashion. Analyze sales data and collaborate with the Head of Sales to adapt the sales strategies according to the health of the account. Collaborate with marketing to activate key dealers, attend events and coordinate demos in territory to help drive sales conversion at dealers. Inform the appropriate persons (Product, R&D, Operations, Marketing, Finance, etc.) of customer feedback with regards to price, products, quality, service, logistics, etc. Maintain product features and technical knowledge up-to-date on various product lines. WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A BUSINESS PARTNER Strong understanding of the cycling market and customer needs. Proven track record in managing and growing customer accounts. Ability to influence and negotiate. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Autonomy and proactivity.
