Nurse Anesthetist Full-Time Evening Shift

Position Summary At Stony Brook Medicine, a Director of Instructional Resource/Nurse Anesthetist is a valuable member of our team, who provides clinical services to our patient population. Responsibilities include pre and post-operative patient assessment, development of an anesthetic plan and the administration of anesthetics. Qualified candidates will demonstrate superior patient care and possess outstanding communication skills while adhering to our high standard of excellence. Duties of a Director of Instructional Resource/Nurse Anesthetist may include the following but are not limited to: Pre-Operative Patient Evaluation: Assessment of medical and surgical history, current health status and development of the anesthetic plan. Intra-Operative Care: Administration of general anesthesia, regional anesthesia and sedation. Provide airway management and appropriate monitoring. Post-Operative Patient Evaluation: Evaluation to the patient following the administration of anesthesia. Qualifications: Required Qualifications: Graduate of a program in Anesthesia accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. Must have successfully completed, or be eligible to sit for the certification examination in Anesthesia. Anticipated Pay Range: The salary range (or hiring range) for this position is %24xxx - %24xxx / year. The above salary range represents SBUH’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. The specific salary offer will be based on the candidate’s validated years of comparable experience.
