The CDL Driver is tasked with driving and maintaining trucks that are assigned to them, as well as working closely with our team of dispatchers in order to plan routes and make timely deliveries.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Job Functions:</strong></p><p>Includes, but is not limited to, the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions may be required as deemed necessary by management personnel to contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.</p><ul><li>Drive long distances to deliver materials to jobsites in a timely manner.</li><li>Load, unload and record cargo deliveries. Maintain paperwork.</li><li>Refuel and clean vehicle.</li><li>Inspect trucks and record issues. Report road incidents to the dispatcher and report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel.</li><li>Follow traffic laws and follow accident procedures.</li><li>Keep a activity log and log hours. Plan routes using GPS system.</li><li>Keep commercial driver requirements up to date.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Proven work experience as a truck driver with extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations</li><li>Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc.)</li><li>Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly</li><li>Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Holiday Pay</li><li>Vacation Pay</li><li>Paid Time Off</li><li>401K</li><li>Performance Bonuses</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>",
