We work hard, support each other, and deliver high-quality solutions for our clients, while making time to recharge and enjoy the work we do.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Engineer to lead our Drainage and Flood Control efforts. In this role, you will serve as a technical subject matter expert, driving the design and analysis of complex stormwater management systems, flood mitigation infrastructure, and open-channel hydraulics.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>You will bridge the gap between high-level engineering analysis and practical design solutions, ensuring our projects not only meet regulatory standards but also protect communities and infrastructure from flood risks. This is an ideal position for a technical leader who thrives on solving difficult hydraulic problems and mentoring junior staff.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 124, 186); font-weight: bold\">Core Responsibilities</span><br>•    Perform complex hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, including 1D and 2D stormwater modeling using software such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS (1D/2D), FLO-2D, or similar.<br>•    Conduct floodplain mapping, delineation, and regulatory compliance reviews.<br>•    Prepare and review technical drainage reports, CLOMR/LOMR submittals, and FEMA flood map revisions.<br>•    Utilize ArcGIS/QGIS for data analysis, mapping, and modeling support.<br>•    Design stormwater and drainage facility designs, such as channels, culverts detention basins, storm drain systems, and erosion protection.<br>•    Prepare and review technical drainage reports, CLOMR/LOMR submittals, and FEMA flood map revisions.<br>•    Oversee the technical quality of drainage deliverables, ensuring compliance with local municipal standards, state DOT requirements, and federal (FEMA/USACE) regulations.<br>•    Coordinate directly with clients, regulatory agencies, and sub-consultants to resolve permitting issues and technical challenges.<br>•    Conduct rigorous QA/QC reviews of calculations, models, and design drawings prepared by junior staff.<br>•    Coordinate with project managers to support deliverables on schedule and within budget.<br>•    Serve as a technical mentor to Engineer-in-Training (EIT) staff and junior engineers, providing guidance on modeling techniques and design best practices.<br>•    Assist Project Manager in scope development, fee estimation, and proposal writing for drainage-focused pursuits.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 124, 186); font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span><br>•    Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
