Our daily substitutes play a vital role in ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive and productive educational environment. Candidates must understand child/adolescent development, have experience working with students, and are committed to growing as an educator. Candidates should be collaborative team players and possess a positive flexible attitude.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Job&nbsp;Responsibilities</strong></p><p>The Faculty Assistant key responsibilities are as follows:&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Deliver engaging and effective instruction according to the provided lesson plans and established curriculum.</li><li>Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, respectful, and orderly learning environment.</li><li>Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages student participation and learning.</li><li>Adhere to all school policies, procedures, and safety regulations.</li><li>Communicate effectively with school staff, students, and parents (as needed).</li><li>Possess a high-level of resourcefulness</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s degree in the subject area or a related field (Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred)</li><li>Strong instructional, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to promote a positive and collaborative professional culture.</li><li>Passion for education, student development, and professional learning.&nbsp;</li><li>Qualified candidates for primary and lower school (PK-4) must have prior experience working with elementary-aged children.&nbsp;</li><li>Commitment to Gulliver Prep&rsquo;s mission, values, and continuous improvement.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Pre-Employment Requirements</strong></p><p>Criminal Background Check, Level II Fingerprint Screening(s), and Drug screen.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><em>Gulliver is deeply committed to the principles of equity and diversity and seeks to create an inclusive community for all faculty and staff.
