Tower maintenance technicians should be mindful and thorough in their work; following installation and safety guidelines, and instructions from the Tower Leadership.<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Ability to use provided safety gear while working at heights up to 300ft.</li><li>Installation of broadband equipment at Mercury tower premises&nbsp;</li><li>Represent the company in a professional manner</li><li>Assist with new tower site construction</li><li>Troubleshoot broadband tower equipment</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve network outages</li><li>Basic mechanical skills</li><li>Installation and tuning of Microwave Dishes and Radios</li><li>Ability to be ON Call and troubleshoot Network Outages as needed in your market.<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Skills and Requirements:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Comfortable working on ladders, roofs, towers (up to 300&rsquo;), and elevated locations&nbsp;</li><li>Basic mechanical skills</li><li>Knowledge of and ability to operate basic hand and power tools</li><li>Follow cabling procedures for wiring towers</li><li>Clean driving record and valid driver&rsquo;s license</li><li>Self-Motivated&nbsp;</li><li>2+ years Tower hand experience (preferred)</li><li>First Aid/CPR/AED certified (preferred)</li><li>Authorized Climber and Rescue trained (preferred)<br>&nbsp; &nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Ability to climb with up to a 30 lb. load and work at elevated heights up to 500&#39;, with most of the work performed at 300&#39; or less; must be able to pull own body weight plus equipment weight up a vertical tower repeatedly</li><li>Ability to stand continuously, reach frequently, &amp; bend at waist and knees frequently</li><li>Requires working outdoors in all types of weather</li><li>Ability to stoop, crawl, squat and lift 50 lbs.; and be able to lift 50 lbs. overhead occasionally</li><li>Requires good finger and hand dexterity to utilize various hand tools in a repetitive manner<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Education Requirements:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to climb towers and structures regularly, including heights of <strong>300&ndash;500+ feet</strong>.</li><li>Ability to climb while carrying tools or equipment.</li><li>Ability to safely climb ladders (including up to 40 ft).</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 50&ndash;80 lbs (frequently or repetitively depending on task).</li><li>Ability to move equipment up and down stairs when necessary.</li><li>Sufficient hand strength and dexterity to operate hand tools and power tools as well as work with cables, connectors, microwave gear, and small components.</li><li>Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and contort the body for extended periods.</li><li>Ability to maintain balance while climbing and working on elevated or uneven surfaces.</li><li>Ability to work outdoors and indoors in all weather conditions year-round, including harsh environments.</li><li>Ability to work around live electrical components and sensitive equipment.</li><li>Ability to see the full color spectrum (important for cable/connector identification).</li><li>Ability to hear and communicate clearly with team members.</li><li>Ability to handle equipment safely at heights and in confined spaces.</li><li>Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate.</li><li>Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.</li><li>May be required to operate general office equipment including but not limited to copiers, printers.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Organization:</strong> Mercury Broadband is a leading provider of high-speed Internet and digital phone service.
