    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p><strong>Odyssey</strong> has an exciting opportunity for a <strong>Senior Test and Evaluation Specialist</strong> supporting fourth generation aircraft for an Air Force acquisition mission at <strong>Eglin AFB, FL</strong>. The candidate will provide test and evaluation technical and engineering support across test concept development, test methodology development, test plan development, test execution, and test reporting, including data reduction and analysis and end-user operational testing.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a full-time on-site position at <strong>Eglin Air Force Base, FL</strong>.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Duties include, but are not limited to:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide T&E technical and engineering support by documenting the review, test concept development, test methodology development, test plan development, test execution, and test reporting, data reduction and analysis, and end-user operational </li>\n <li>Utilize and apply Design of Experiments methods to plan and conduct test </li>\n <li>Prepare (or advise others in the preparation of) criteria, computation/analyses, specifications, cost estimates test plans, and technical reports in the specific area of technical expertise.</li>\n <li>Select and apply engineering techniques and procedures to analyze and evaluate specific problem, data, or other features of the work which are broad in scope and </li>\n <li>Review and evaluate the quantity, quality, and overall adequacy of results and conclusions drawn from accomplishment of test engineering tasks.</li>\n <li>Develop new and innovative approaches to problems encountered, and accomplish assigned tasks with efficiency, timeliness, and thoroughness.</li>\n <li>Evaluate the configuration, capability, and operational relevance of test environments and ensure they are properly available for the thorough testing of software releases (e.g. fault insertion/fault identification).</li>\n <li>De-conflict schedule conflicts between multiple releases, providing high quality analysis and recommendations to the program test lead.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Citizenship: Must be a US citizen</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Minimum Required Qualifications</strong></em></p>\n<p><strong>Clearance</strong><strong>: </strong>Top Secret</p>\n<p><strong>Education and experience: </strong>Associates + 15 years in Related Discipline <em>OR</em> Bachelor’s in Related Discipline + 10 years Relevant Experience</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></em></p>\n<p><strong>Clearance</strong><strong>: </strong>Top Secret</p>\n<p><strong>Education and experience: </strong>Associates + 20 years in relevant experience <em>OR</em> Bachelor’s in engineering (ABET-accredited) + 15 years relevant experience</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Technical Skills</strong></em></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Test concept development and test methodology development</p></li>\n <li><p>Test plan development, test execution, and test reporting</p></li>\n <li><p>Data reduction and analysis</p></li>\n <li><p>End-user operational testing support</p></li>\n <li><p>Design of Experiments application for test planning and execution</p></li>\n <li><p>Engineering techniques and procedures for complex problem/data analysis</p></li>\n <li><p>Test environment configuration and operational relevance evaluation</p></li>\n <li><p>Software release test support (fault insertion/fault identification)</p></li>\n <li><p>Schedule de-confliction support across multiple releases</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><strong>Interpersonal Skills</strong></em></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Ability to develop innovative approaches to complex test problems</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong attention to quality, adequacy, and completeness of test results and conclusions</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to deliver thorough, timely, and efficient task execution</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to provide clear analysis and recommendations to program test leadership</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><strong>Additional Information</strong></em></p>\n<p><strong>Location: </strong>Eglin AFB, FL</p>\n<p><strong>Travel: </strong>Travel may be required per the customer's discretion. </p>\n<p><strong>Onsite</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#LI-MB1</p>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Odyssey </strong>is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
