We go beyond expectations — mitigating risks, reducing financial obligations, and maximizing value for our clients.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Join SECURE, where we step up to make a meaningful difference in the industries we serve and the world we share.</p>\n<h2>Your Opportunity at SECURE</h2>\n<p>The General Labourer is responsible for day-to-day duties on site needed to complete work in a safe and timely fashion and maintain a clean work site</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role is based out of Edmonton Alberta</p>\n<h2>The Team</h2>\n<p>This position must also adhere to our safety program and work as a contributing member of the site team.</p>\n<h2>Work Environment</h2>\n<p>This is a full time permanent position working an 8am to 5pm shift, Monday to Friday.  </p>\n<h2>A Day in The Life</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure all SECURE safety policies and procedures are followed</li>\n <li>Be cognizant of and adhere to any site-specific safety requirements</li>\n <li>Partake in all safety related meetings including: daily tail gates, last minute risk assessment, etc.</li>\n <li>Work well with other workers</li>\n <li>Must be familiar with operating and servicing small equipment such as forklifts, skid steer, cut off saws, stationary baler</li>\n <li>Responsible for sorting non-ferrous material, cutting material to size and packaging</li>\n <li>Willing to be trained on other positions</li>\n <li>Must have an understanding of all power and small tools</li>\n <li>Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment</li>\n <li>Clean, lubricate and fuel all equipment and general site housekeeping</li>\n <li>Notify supervisor and or repair shop of any required work to be done</li>\n <li>Other related duties as required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills, Experience & Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>General labouring and or farm experience an asset but not required</li>\n <li>Experience working with metals would be an asset but we are willing to train</li>\n <li>Basic comprehension and ability to follow SECURE’s Workplace Health and Safety requirements relevant to the assigned work site, including but not limited to SECURE’s safety and hazard assessment process”</li>\n <li>Ability to complete safety documentation in an accurate and timely manner</li>\n <li>Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, shoveling, moving containers and other heavy materials</li>\n <li>Strong work ethic and willingness to persevere through difficult weather conditions</li>\n <li>Ability to manage weather and/or seasonal interruptions in work schedule</li>\n <li>Certification in WHIMS, First Aid would be considered an asset</li>\n <li>Fit-for-Work each day </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What's in it for you</h2>\n<p>At SECURE, we focus on opportunities for growth and improvement; for our employees, our customers, our partners, and the communities we operate in.
