Under the supervision of the RN, the Licensed Practical Nurse provides individualized, goal-directed, patient-centered nursing care. The Licensed Practical Nurse plans, implements, and evaluates patient care; administers medications; and evaluates and documents patients&rsquo; status and progress. The Licensed Practical Nurse also supervises Patient Care Techs, and other team members as assigned.</p><p style='margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-left:0in;line-height:13.8pt;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Aptos\",sans-serif;background:white;' id=\"isPasted\"><strong><span style='font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;color:#414141;background:yellow;'>****$5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS****</span></strong></p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Active LPN license in the state of Alabama</li><li id=\"isPasted\">BLS certification or must obtain within 30 days of hire date. ACLS and/or PALS certification from the American Heart Association may be required depending on the nursing unit.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li id=\"isPasted\">Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical setting</li><li>Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li id=\"isPasted\">Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians</li><li>Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history</li><li>Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with procedures and surgeries</li><li>Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records</li></ul><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><p>As an LPN, you will utilize your strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide compassionate care to patients and their families.
