Tests and analyzes processes according to system specifications and within established timelines. Interacts with customers, vendors and other HST/IS&T staff to identify problems and propose solutions. Conducts training programs as required.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong>   </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides analysis, design, and support of hospital systems, including testing, training, implementation, and on-going support.</li>\n <li>Works to complete project plan tasks under the direction of a Senior Hospital Applications Analyst or Principal Hospital Applications Specialist.</li>\n <li>Conducts hospital system workflow analysis.</li>\n <li>Interacts with end users, vendors and other related areas to gather requirements and compile data.</li>\n <li>Assists in the installation of software and/or hardware. Works in concert with other HST/IS&T departments pertaining to the planning and implementation of systems to ensure that HST/IS&T standards are met.</li>\n <li>Designs and develops application programs from analysis through implementation.</li>\n <li>Documents, communicates and assists in problem determination and resolution.</li>\n <li>Develops and maintains systems build documentation, issue documentation, and other documentation as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Bring</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree required, with preference for Computer Science, Healthcare (BSN), Business Administration, or related field. </li>\n <li>Two (2) years of progressively more responsible experience in related technology field. Direct experience with electronic medical records is a plus. </li>\n <li>Must complete certification on an Epic application specified by management within 6 months of training. </li>\n <li>Strong problem solving skills.
