Catalytic IT is looking for an ICT consultant (all-rounder) for our Devonport branch. Devonport is a relatively new office for our organisation, however we have an exceptional anchor customer that we work with locally, and you will be a part of our extended family, supporting customers nationally. Our growth over the last few years has been consistent   because we’re good at what we do, and we have an amazing bunch of customers who keep us busy and tell their friends. We’ve also got a great team. We know everyone tells you their culture is great, and they’ve got great people… We mean it. Imagine working with people who have the perfect reaction GIF and who chose Axe throwing as a team building event. Now imagine those same people are technically great, highly certified, and genuinely nice people to boot. We’re looking for personable IT people - no back room people here. Can you explain technical concepts to non-technical people? Can you hold a conversation with someone you’ve just met for the first time. Do you have drive and determination, and are you 100% committed to great customer experience?   Do you share a passion for good coffee?  Then you may well be who we’re looking for. To get started, here's some things that will help you stand out: Previous MSP experience Good technical capability (broad is good, but you have an area you love) You love sharing your knowledge Certs are great, or show us you know your stuff! Do you have the ability to maintain good relationships and have the ability to do some pre-sales? Technical account managers may be a good background for this role. We’ve Great Place to Work certified and have a strong focus on our organisational culture. Additionally, our team was named one of the Best Technology Workplaces in Australia for 2025. A few of the initiatives that we’ve got in place at Catalytic IT, include: 20% time - we aim to ensure our team are not regularly booked for more than 80% of their time, leaving the other 20% of their time free to promote professional and personal development, passion projects, and administrative catch-up Heavy investment in training - individualised training plans, allocation of time for training, regularly paying for training & conferences, etc. Training is our second largest operating expense, after wages and superannuation. Day off a month - we ensure all staff have access to a long weekend every month - because they’re great! High class toolset - MacBook Pro, iPad, iPhone, any tools they need or want to make their jobs easier Monthly technical training night - we get the team back in house at least once a month to cover off a technical topic in more detail, with food & drinks provided Minimise overtime - the majority of our team do not work overtime; we try to keep it family friendly! Staff discount - staff can purchase at cost price anything they need Team building events which run multiple times per annum We form partnerships with our customers and are trusted, strategic advisors rather than transactional partners. If you want to be able to truly influence the direction of your customers, and be able to offer good advice we might be a great fit for you. This role is pivotal for our new branch, and offers great opportunities for growth for the right person.   Long term this position could grow into a branch lead or branch manager role if we get the right mixture of skillsets.
