          "text": "<p>The <strong>Metal Shop Technician</strong> will assist&#xa0;in fabrication and assembly of custom Switchgear structures of varying size and scope to meet client and product specs and prepare the same for shipment.  Good understanding of machinery safety. Use&#xa0;hand and small power tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, drills as&#xa0;required.  Must be able to read and understand blueprints.  Infrequent travel may be&#xa0;required&#xa0;for install/service.&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Schedule:&#xa0;</strong>Monday to Friday &amp; Tuesday to Friday 4x10 schedule *$2 shift differential to be applied*</p><p><strong>Accountabilities:</strong>&#xa0;</p><ul><li>Assist&#xa0;with the handling of raw steel and copper.&#xa0;</li><li>Assist&#xa0;in operation of metal shop machinery, including punch, brake,&#xa0;shear&#xa0;and saws.&#xa0;</li><li>Weld sheet metal goods and prep for coating.&#xa0;</li><li>Assemble metalwork and handle sheet metal goods.&#xa0;</li><li>Follow blueprint diagrams.&#xa0;</li><li>Be proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools.&#xa0;</li><li>Fabrication, including saw cutting and drilling.&#xa0;</li><li>May be&#xa0;required&#xa0;to cross train, supporting other sections of the Company.&#xa0;</li><li>Conducts or&#xa0;acquires&#xa0;background checks and employee eligibility verifications.&#xa0;</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.&#xa0;</li></ul>",

This position requires standing for extended periods, working around machinery, and adherence to all safety and compliance standards.&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Mobility: Ability to move around the manufacturing plant, including walking, standing, and climbing stairs.&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Manual Dexterity: Occasional use of hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Lifting: Ability to lift and carry items up to fifty (50) pounds.
