Job Summary Snackruptors USA Inc. is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Processing Operator to join our manufacturing team in Mountville, PA. The Processing Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment, ensuring products are processed according to company specifications, and maintaining food safety, quality, and production standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in supporting production efficiency, minimizing downtime, and ensuring compliance with all safety and food safety procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate processing and manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently. Monitor product quality and production standards throughout the shift. Perform equipment start-up, shut-down, and changeover activities. Conduct routine inspections of machinery and production areas. Maintain accurate production and quality documentation. Verify product specifications, code dates, and batch information. Troubleshoot minor mechanical or operational issues and notify supervision of larger concerns. Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP, SQF, sanitation, and food safety procedures. Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout the shift. Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational goals. Follow all workplace safety procedures and use required PPE. Assist other departments and team members as needed. Report food safety, quality, or safety concerns immediately to supervision. Food Safety & Quality Requirements Employees are required to comply with all food safety and quality programs, including but not limited to: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) HACCP Programs SQF Programs Allergen Control Programs Sanitation Standards Workplace Safety Policies Quality Assurance Procedures Qualifications Required Qualifications Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic math and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and communication skills. Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing or food production experience preferred. Experience operating industrial or processing equipment preferred. Knowledge of GMP and food safety procedures preferred. Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position: Standing and walking for extended periods Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting Repetitive hand and arm movements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work around moving machinery and equipment Ability to work in varying temperatures and humid conditions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role. Work Environment Manufacturing and production facility environment Exposure to production equipment and moving machinery Exposure to heat, humidity, dust particles, and noise Standing and walking on concrete flooring Forklift and powered industrial vehicle traffic Safety Requirements Employees must follow all workplace safety rules and procedures, including: Proper lifting and bending techniques Lockout/Tagout procedures where applicable Equipment safety procedures Housekeeping and sanitation procedures Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience, qualifications, and shift assignment.
