The Distribution Center Outbound Manager is responsible for directing the daily outbound operations of the shipping/loading department within a distribution center.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversees picking, loading, and shipping to ensure accuracy and timely delivery; continuously monitors workflow for optimization.</li>\n <li>Utilizes TMS to create outbound loads in preparation for items being picked. </li>\n <li>Utilizes WMS to create wave releases of items to be picked by warehouse associates.</li>\n <li>Effectively execute order demands, replenishment demands and branch replenishments through warehouse transfers systematically.</li>\n <li>Leads a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards along with meeting productivity requirements.</li>\n <li>Ensures orders are picked and sorted correctly, shipments are accurately labeled, and products are loaded and secured to prevent damage during transit.</li>\n <li>Enforces safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for employees and compliance with regulatory requirements.</li>\n <li>Identifies inefficiencies in outbound processes and recommend improvements to streamline operations.</li>\n <li>Maintains accurate records of outbound shipments, tracking performance metrics, and prepares reports for management review.</li>\n <li>Maintains open communication with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and resolve any issues. </li>\n <li>Other duties/responsibilities as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree preferred.</li>\n <li>6+ years’ previous management experience, preferably in a distribution center environment.</li>\n <li>Excellent leadership ability with a focus on customer service and teamwork.</li>\n <li>Strong computer skills with previous experience working with TMS and WMS.</li>\n <li>Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.</li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Analytical with the ability to plan staffing levels to workflow.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>About First Supply</u></strong></p>\n<p><strong>First Supply® </strong>is a leading main channel wholesale distributor, providing industrial customers and building contractors with an extensive line of products and services.
