    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>We are seeking a strategic Manufacturing Engineering Specialist for the Ironton site to drive operational excellence in the production of Industrial Thermal Units. This role focuses on the architectural and procedural optimization of the facility, including plant layout redesign, cost reduction initiatives, and the successful execution of NPDI (New Product Development and Introduction) projects. You will be responsible for maximizing floor space utilization, streamlining material flow, and modernizing fabrication processes to support high-growth thermal product lines.</p>\n<p><b>Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li><b>Plant Layout &amp; Space Optimization (35%):</b>&nbsp;Design and implement optimized facility floor plans using AutoCAD to maximize square footage, eliminate bottlenecks, and integrate new production cells.</li>\n <li><b>Cost Reduction &amp; Value Engineering (25%):</b>&nbsp;Lead year-over-year cost-out projects focused on material yield, labor efficiency, and scrap reduction across all fabrication and assembly operations.</li>\n <li><b>NPDI Project Execution (15%):</b>&nbsp;Manage the manufacturing launch of new thermal units, ensuring all NPDI milestones are met through rigorous Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews.</li>\n <li><b>Process Updating &amp; Standardization (15%):</b>&nbsp;Audit and modernize manufacturing routers, bill of materials (BOM), and SOPs to reflect current equipment capabilities and thermal testing standards.</li>\n <li><b>Lean &amp; Continuous Improvement (10%):</b>&nbsp;Facilitate Kaizen events to improve 5S standards and implement cellular manufacturing to reduce work-in-progress (WIP) inventory.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Required / Minimum Qualifications:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li><b>Education:</b>&nbsp;Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.</li>\n <li><b>Experience:</b>&nbsp;7-10 years in manufacturing engineering, with a proven track record in&nbsp;<b>large-scale facility layout</b>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<b>cost-out management</b>.
