    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Element has an opportunity for a <strong>Metallurgy Technician</strong> whose primary responsibility is to perform routine, metallurgical, mechanical, failure, corrosion testing facilitating metallurgy operations at site or at a laboratory.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Element Cambridge is a full-service materials testing laboratory offering advanced capabilities in corrosion testing, chemical analysis, mechanical testing, stress rupture, metallurgical analysis, and failure investigation. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>If you are not currently authorized to work in Canada, Element Materials Technology will not consider your job application. Any candidate must be lawfully eligible to work in Canada as a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada. </strong></em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Pay range: $24-26/hr CAD</p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Hardness testing, sample prep and report writing and metallurgical testing (micro / macro examinations)</li>\n <li>Involvement in site / field testing</li>\n <li>Ensure work compliance to ISO 17025 requirements</li>\n <li>Coordinating with the technicians in the team to carry out work as per the planning schedule</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills / Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Degree/Diploma in Metallurgy or related discipline</li>\n <li>2-4 years of experience working in a laboratory in the field of metallurgy testing</li>\n <li>Good knowledge on international standards and codes</li>\n <li>Excellent report writing skill</li>\n <li>Good communication skills</li>\n <li>Self-motivated team playing with excellent organisational and communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#LI-TF1</p>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p>Element is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
