Role Overview Sodexo is seeking a
Patient Services Manager to lead food service operations at UMass North Pavilion in Worcester, MA. This role will oversee a team of 19 frontline associates and supervisors, ensuring exceptional patient dining experiences while supporting clinical and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, healthcare food service experience, and a passion for patient satisfaction. This role offers a consistent schedule with no late nights and every 3rd weekend rotation.
What You'll Do
Oversee daily operations of the Patient Dining Program, ensuring high-quality meal service and patient satisfaction
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 19 associates, fostering a positive and engaged work environment
Conduct daily patient rounding and service recovery to enhance the overall patient experience
Collaborate with clinical teams, dietitians, and nursing staff to support patient dietary needs and satisfaction goals
Perform tray assessments to ensure food quality, presentation, and accuracy meet Sodexo standards
Drive compliance with HACCP, safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards
Support operational efficiencies, staffing plans, and training initiatives
Ensure successful audit readiness and participation in regulatory inspections

What You Bring
1–2 years of customer service leadership experience required (healthcare or food service preferred)
Prior Sodexo experience strongly preferred
Healthcare food service and patient services experience preferred
Proven ability to lead and develop frontline teams in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with patients, families, and clinical staff
Passion for delivering excellent patient and customer service aligned with Sodexo CARES behaviors
Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance
Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills
