    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Title:</span><span> </span>Armed School Security Officer</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Department:</span><span> Uniformed </span>Security</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Reports To:</span><span> Operations Manager</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Summary:</span></span></p>\n<p>The Armed School Security Officer plays a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors within the school setting. The Security officer will serve as a visible security presence on campus, deter and respond to incidents, monitor access points, and build positive relationships with the school community to promote safety awareness and preparedness.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide daily security presence on school grounds during operational hours.</li>\n<li>Monitor entrances, exits, hallways, parking lots, and common areas to prevent and respond to unauthorized activities or safety threats.</li>\n<li>Patrol school premises regularly to detect and deter any suspicious or unsafe behavior.</li>\n<li>Enforce school rules, policies, and procedures regarding safety and security.</li>\n<li>Assist with emergency drills, including fire, lockdown, and evacuation drills.</li>\n<li>Respond to incidents such as fights, disturbances, trespassing, or other security-related issues.</li>\n<li>Respond to radio requests from school staff and Security dispatcher</li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with school administrators, faculty, and local law enforcement when needed.<br></li>\n<li>Maintain clear and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and daily activity reports.</li>\n<li>Assist with cross walk duties to ensure safety for the children</li>\n<li>De-escalate conflicts using non-violent communication techniques.</li>\n<li>Provide support during student arrival and dismissal to ensure orderly and safe movement.</li>\n<li>Educate students and staff on personal safety and crisis response as needed.</li>\n<li>Maintain a marked patrol car parked strategically in front of the school and day care center</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent required; additional security or criminal justice training preferred.</li>\n<li>Valid Arizona Armed Security Guard License/Certification (as required by AZ DPS).</li>\n<li>Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in Armed security, school safety, or law enforcement preferred.</li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with youth.</li>\n<li>Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in stressful or emergency situations.</li>\n<li>Must pass background check and drug screening.</li>\n<li>CPR/First Aid certification preferred or obtain within 90 days.</li>\n<li>Must be able to obtain a finger print clearance card.</li>\n<li>Must be able to qualify with at least an 85% with an issued firearm. </li>\n<li>Must have a valid Arizona drivers license with a 36 month clean driving record</li>\n<li>must be able to operate a Motorola two way radio and communicate to a dispatcher.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.</li>\n<li>Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, drag up to 100 pounds and respond quickly in case of emergencies.</li>\n<li>Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work Schedule:</span></span></p>\n<p>Full-time year round during school hours (Monday–Friday); occasional evenings or weekends for events or emergencies.</p>\n<p>must be able to work special events outside normal school hours</p>\n<p>Must maintain good work ethics with minimal to no call offs unless urgent circumstance's arise.  </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why Join Delta Security Services?</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive pay and consistent scheduling</li>\n<li>Opportunities for advancement</li>\n<li>Professional and supportive work environment</li>\n<li>Training and supervision provided</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">How to Apply:</span></p>\n<p>Submit your resume or apply online at:<br><a href=\"https://deltasecurityllc.com/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https://DeltaSecurityLLC.com</a></p>\n<p>or in person at </p>\n<p>8055 N 24th Ave </p>\n<p>Suite i</p>\n<p>Phoenix, AZ 85021</p>\n<p>623-257-9393</p>",
