The LPN will assist the Residential Nurse Trainer to coordinate care and ensure that the medical needs of the individuals served by the agency are met.  <br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES</span><br>• Check the accuracy of monthly medication shipments and provide documentation for corrections/changes to the</p>\n<p>    pharmacy with oversight by the Nurse Trainer<br>• Deliver medications to eight group homes in Charleston on a monthly basis<br>• Assist the Nurse Trainer in reviewing electronic MAR records and medication errors<br>• Monitor medication administration passes made by authorized direct support personnel to ensure compliance with</p>\n<p>   applicable rules and policies/procedures<br>• Provide clinical nursing services, as assigned<br>• Maintain written records of services provided, such as nursing notes<br>• Provide advice and/or assistance for emergency or non-routine medical situations, including first aid treatment<br>• Assist the Nurse Trainer to complete Health Risk Screening Tool assessments and update the data contained within</p>\n<p>   the system<br>• Administer medications that cannot be administered by non-licensed personnel, as needed<br><br> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">REQUIREMENTS</span><br>• Must possess a valid driver’s license<br>• Possess an unencumbered Illinois Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license<br>• Previous clinical experience and/or experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is</p>\n<p>   preferred, but not required<br>• Must pass a criminal background check, as required by the Healthcare Worker Background Check Act (225 ILCS</p>\n<p>  46), and a DCFS Child Abuse and Neglect background check<br>• Successfully complete and maintain American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR/First Aid certification<br>• Must possess basic computer skills and have familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, such as Word and Excel<br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SCHEDULE</span><br>Monday through Friday from 8 am – 5 pm (40 hours per week)<br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WAGES</span><br>$28 per hour - $30 per hour, depending upon experience<br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">PAY SCHEDULE</span><br>Staff are paid every two weeks with a direct deposit option available upon request<br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">BENEFITS AVAILABLE</span><br>• Paid Time Off<br>• Paid Holidays<br>• Offered: Health Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance, Life Insurance, Dental Insurance, and</p>\n<p>   Vision Insurance<br>• Flexible Spending Account option<br>• Profit-Sharing<br>• Employee Assistance Program<br>• 403 (b) Investment Plan option<br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUESTIONS</span><br>Text: (501) 203-9636 OR 401-203-5862<br>Call: (217) 460-9119<br><br></p>\n<p><br></p>",
